The teachers were encouraging and helpful in making sure I had achieved the goal I had set out to do, which was to join and graduate the class. "When I first received the email announcing Joonbug Yoga was offering a Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) I immediately knew in my gut that this was for me. I was looking for the support to become a more dedicated practitioner of yoga, and in turn share this practice with others. The knowledge gained through this training has provided me a traditional way to process the stresses of this modern world and slow down into mindfulness--the core of what I was looking for. Michelle, Camelia and Patti were a trifecta of different perspectives that made me feel like a more well-rounded student of yoga. Another blessing from this class was a group of positive, nurturing, open-minded students that helped each other grow as individuals. The amount of information that was covered by handouts, in-class discussions, books and sometimes 6 hours/day of straight yoga was organized in a way that made it accessible and gave me confidence. Going through each pose and being conscious of the whole body brought me closer to my body than ever before. The ability to go into a deeper meditative state due to my daily practice really helped me grasp even more of the heart of yoga. I'm teaching my own yoga classes, and feel comfortable because of the skills and guidance I gained through Jonnbug Yoga's YTT. If anyone is thinking about it, just take the leap and find out for yourself what an amazing experience it is. My life is forever changed."

"YTT was transformational for me - because of the teachers' ethical and passionionate teachings of the traditions of yoga, as well as the bond that developed with fellow students. The teachers nurtured that bond and continue to support us post graduation. All of us are teaching and I was able to teach even before graduation with a sense of confidence and the ability to carry on the traditions of yoga while maintaining my individual strengths and interests thus avoiding the "cookie cutout" teacher personality. I love Joonbug Yoga Studio and what it has become for the community."
