JUNE 17th and 23rd, 2017

Women's Yoga and Kayaking at Lake Cushman 

Join us for our 2 hours of gentle yoga and kayaking at Lake Cushman!

Dates: Saturday, June 17th, 2017 (this class is full) and Friday, June 23rd, 2017 (room available)

Time: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Cost: FREE! Pre-registration is required. Class is limited to 12 participants.

Joonbug Yoga and Blue Horizons Paddlesports and are teaming up to offer a women's-only yoga/kayaking combo tour on beautiful Lake Cushman!

Beginners and experienced paddlers and yoga practitioners ... enjoy a rejuvenating, relaxing evening on beautiful Lake Cushman. Make new friends, get some gentle exercise, and soak in the beautiful scenery of Olympic National Park. Expect a half hour of gentle yoga on shore, and an hour of kayaking (most of the group will be in tandems). No experience necessary. 
This introductory event is free of charge. The goal is to see how this format works and get feedback from you! We hope to make this a regular offering throughout the summer. We'll meet at Bear Gulch, a US Forest Service lake access at the northern tip of Lake Cushman, just before Staircase Campground

What to bring:
-Snacks and beverages
-Yoga mat (we will have a few to share)
-A wind/water resistant layer
-Wear comfortable, synthetic clothing (you'll get a little wet in the kayaks from paddle splashes)

"Invigorate" Summer Yoga Retreat

1-day Yoga Summer Yoga Retreat with Michelle Pugh and Rebekah Brems at Alderbrook! 

Date: Saturday, July 29th, 2017

Time: 10 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Cost: $45 per person for 60 minute SUP Yoga class only, $75 per person for Session 3 only or $120 per person for the full retreat schedule (SUP Yoga class and 3 additional yoga classes). Pre-registration is required by July 8th, 2017 at www.JoonbugYoga.com/rates 

Earn continuing education credits for yoga teachers through Yoga Alliance with Joonbug!
This retreat offers 200 and 500 hour Registered Yoga Teachers 5 total contact hours of continuing education credits (4 TTP and 1 YPLE). 

Invigorate Yoga Retreat Schedule 

Session 1:

Cost*: $45 per person

10 a.m. – 11 a.m.: SUP basics yoga class, open to beginners, minimum of 4/maximum of 8 participants

*Cost includes SUP board rental, space is limited to 8 SUP boards

Session 2: 

Cost*: $45 per person

11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.: SUP basics yoga class, open to beginners, minimum of 4/maximum of 8 participants

*Cost includes SUP board rental, space is limited to 8 SUP boards

Lunch break for SUP Yogis and Yoginis!

Restart retreat at 1:00 p.m.


Session 3:

Aqua Yoga, Waterfront Yoga and Restorative Yoga Cost*: $75 per person

*This session does not include SUP yoga. This package includes 3 yoga classes held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Friday, November 3rd:
● 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.: All levels gentle yoga practice followed by Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) meditation for deep rest and rejuvenation
Saturday, November 4th:
● 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Meditation and all levels invigorate asana practice
● 9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.: Break
● 9:45 a.m. - Noon: Aqua yoga practice followed by a waterfront meditation to soothe
● Noon - 1:00 p.m.: Lunch Break
● 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Energetics, mantra and meditation
● 3:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.: Break
● 3:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Gentle/restorative yoga practice followed by Yoga Nidra Meditation

● 9:45 a.m. - Noon: Gentle flow yoga detox practice designed to balance and cleanse with essential oils for overall relaxation
● Noon - 1:00 p.m.: Lunch Break
● 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: “Create and Rejuvenate!” group session designed inspire and tap into your authentic creative self through the practices of yoga, art and meditation
● 3:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.: Break
● 3:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (closing practice): Guided meditation and gentle yoga practice
Recommended Materials:
Joonbug Yoga will provide handouts and some yoga props for the retreat including bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, blocks and straps. Please bring your personal yoga props for a more comfortable experience (ie. sitting cushion, yoga mat, etc.). Please bring a pen and paper for taking notes and journaling.

C.E.U. credits for current Yoga Alliance 200 and 500 Hour R.Y.T.'s:
Our yoga retreat hours count toward continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance for existing yoga teachers. The following continuing education credits are listed below for R.Y.T.'s after completing this retreat.

Full Moon Yoga at Alderbrook Resort and Spa!

Full moon yoga is held at 7:00 p.m. on the full moon each month. Please call the resort or visit www.AlderbrookResort.com for more information!

Cost: Class is complimentary to hotel guests and $10.00 per person for non-hotel guests. Please pay at the front desk prior to attending class. Visit Alderbrook Resort and Spa for more information. Joonbug Yoga class cards are not valid at this location (class is held indoors during the Fall and Winter months and on the waterfront in the Spring and Summer months). 

Details: Experience a one hour moonlit yoga session led by Michelle Pugh! This class is designed for all levels of experience (beginners welcome!) in a beautiful setting along the shores of Hood Canal at Alderbrook. Take in the brightness of the full moon and revel in the opportunity to start fresh in the coming month. Yoga mats and heaters will be provided.
