YOGA . MEDITATION AND ESSENTIAL OILS WITH MASSAGE TREATMENTS

Details: Taking time for self care at this time of year is key as we come inward from the busy Summer and welcome the beauty of Fall. Enjoy a yoga and meditation practice led by Michelle with the theme of letting go and welcoming change. This warm and cozy wellness offering will also include Fall essential oil blends/aromatherapy, gentle yoga and massage treatments by Preethie on the scalp, neck, hands or back to assist letting go and creating room for deep inspiration. Our yoga practice will include modifications for beginning yoga students. Blankets, bolsters, chairs and eye pillows will be provided throughout the session. Please bring your own yoga mat. No experience necessary. This class is open to Alderbrook Golf and Yacht Club members and the public. Leave feeling refreshed and ready for the season inside and out!

Fall "Rejuvenate" Yoga Retreat


Fall into wellness at our 2-day retreat with Joonbug Yoga and guest teachers, Elizabeth Campbell (Traditional Plants Educator), Preethie Capezio (L.M.P. and 200 Hour R.Y.T.) and Rebekah Brems (500 hour R.Y.T.), Camelia Pugh (L.P.N. and 200 hour R.Y.T.), Linda Woytowich (Woytowich Designs Owner), Jessica Roberson (200 hour R.Y.T.) and Matt Campbell (Tai Chi Instructor).

Our retreat is designed for beginning and experienced students. Enjoy a variety of offerings including yoga, Tai Chi, journaling, meditation, creative activities, herbal teas, essential oils and more! 

Registered yoga teachers will earn 16 continuing education hours through Yoga Alliance by attending our yoga retreat.

Date: Saturday and Sunday, November 3rd - 4th, 2018

Time: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location: Alderbrook Resort and Spa in the Ballroom West Room and Pool, Union, WA

What to bring: Please dress in layers and bring a blanket, bolster or other personal yoga props for added comfort. The resort provides some yoga mats, water and herbal teas during the class.

Pre-registration required!

 Cost: Option 1 - $150.00 per person for Saturday only. Option 2 - $150.00 per person for Sunday only. Option 3 - $295.00 per person for Saturday and Sunday (full retreat). Saturday, November 3rd

8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Meditation and all levels asana practice with Jessica

9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.: Break

9:45 a.m. - Noon: Aqua yoga and water meditation practice to soothe with Michelle

Noon - 1:00 p.m.: Lunch Break

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Energetics, mantra and meditation with Rebekah

3:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.: Break

3:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.: Gentle/restorative yoga practice followed by Yoga Nidra Meditation with Rebekah

 

Sunday, November 4th

8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Meditation and Tai Chi basics practice with Matt

9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.: Break

9:45 a.m. - Noon: Flow yoga detox practice designed to balance and cleanse with Michelle followed by a nurturing essential oils and locally harvested herbal tea session with Elizabeth for overall relaxation

Noon - 1:00 p.m.: Lunch Break

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: “Create and Rejuvenate!” group session designed to dive deeper into your creative self through the practices of meditation, gentle yoga, journaling and art with Linda and Preethie

3:00 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.: Break

3:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (closing practice): Guided meditation and gentle yoga practice with Michelle

Details: Welcome Winter with wellness at Alderbrook Resort and Spa with Joonbug Yoga! Our evening will begin with guided candle gazing meditation, gentle Yin yoga and Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) meditation with the support of blankets, bolsters and eye pillows will lull the body, mind and spirit into deep rest. This class is open to all levels of experience. 

 

MONTHLY EVENTS

Full Moon Yoga at Alderbrook Resort and Spa!

Full moon yoga is held at 7:00 p.m. on the full moon each month. Please call the resort or visit www.AlderbrookResort.com for more information!

Cost: Class is complimentary to hotel guests and $10.00 per person for non-hotel guests. Please pay at the front desk prior to attending class. Visit Alderbrook Resort and Spa for more information. Joonbug Yoga class cards are not valid at this location (class is held indoors during the Fall and Winter months and on the waterfront in the Spring and Summer months). 

Details: Experience a one hour moonlit yoga session led by Michelle Pugh! This class is designed for all levels of experience (beginners welcome!) in a beautiful setting along the shores of Hood Canal at Alderbrook. Take in the brightness of the full moon and revel in the opportunity to start fresh in the coming month. Yoga mats and heaters will be provided.
