Roll and Release Yoga Workshop

This special workshop is designed for myofascial release to increase overall wellness for every body! Yoga postures and Yoga Tune Up® balls are used during the session with guidance by certified Myofascial Release for Yoga and Wellness instructor, Michelle Pugh.

Date: Sunday, January 28th, 2018 SOLD OUT!

Time: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Location: Alderbrook Resort and Spa, Union, WA

Details: Join Michelle Pugh for a 2 hour workshop designed for beginners and experienced practitioners to enjoy the benefits of Myofascial Release for Yoga and Wellness! We will move through a 90 minute yoga practice with guidance on how to use Yoga Tune Up® balls and blocks appropriately in conjunction with basic yoga poses and breath work during our practice. Our session ends with a restorative 20 minute guided meditation (yoga blankets, eye pillows and bolsters will be provided for added comfort). This class will be held in the Ballroom West room at the resort. Please check in at the front desk upon arrival.

What to bring: Please dress in layers, bring a yoga mat and water bottle. Tight fitting exercise clothing (ie. tank top, yoga pants, etc.) is suggested to gain the full benefits of contact with the Yoga Tune Up® balls during the yoga practice. Water and herbal tea will be provided throughout the class for hydration.

"Yoga Nidra" Guided Meditation with Gentle Yoga Class

Experience the benefits of Yoga Nidra meditation! We will warm up the body by practicing a few gentle yoga postures then move into stillness through a guided Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) meditation led by Michelle Pugh. "Journey Through the Chakras" Yoga Workshop

Take a journey through the chakras with Joonbug! This workshop is designed for beginning and experienced yoga students to explore the 7 major energy centers (chakras) through the use of yoga postures, handouts, essential oils, mantra (sound) and meditation to bring even more balance to the body inside and out! 

Date: Sunday, March 4th, 2018

Location: Alderbrook Resort and Spa in the Ballroom West Room, Union, WA

Details: We will move through a 90 minute yoga practice with guidance on how to use basic yoga postures, mantra and meditation appropriately in conjunction with specific essentail oil blends for each chakra to balance and renew the body inside and out! Our session ends with a guided Yoga Nidra meditation where we will journey through the chakras (yoga blankets, eye pillows and bolsters will be provided for added comfort). This class will be held in the Twanoh room at the resort. Please check in at the front desk upon arrival.

"Spring Self Care" Yoga Retreat

Take time for self care this Spring with Joonbug Yoga and guest teachers, Elizabeth Campbell (Traditional Plants Educator), Preethie Capezio (L.M.P. and 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher) and Rebekah Brems (500 hour registered yoga teacher)!

This workshop is designed for beginning and experienced yoga students to experience the benefits of a full day of self care to renew, revitalize and refresh your body, mind and spirit.

Detox Spring Yoga Workshop

Date: Saturday, May 12th, 2018

Time: 10 a.m. to Noon

Location: Avalon Yurt Sanctuary is located at 670 East Strong Road Shelton, WA, 98584

Details: Take time for self care with this gentle yoga practice designed for beginning and experiences students for detoxification inside and out at Avalon Yurt Sanctuary in the Pickering area in Shelton, WA.  Michelle will offer locally hand harvested herbal teas, essential oils and yoga postures to soothe the internal organs of the body and prepare for the Spring season with ease. Our focus during the practice will be toning and detoxifying the liver and kidneys. We will end the practice with a 30 minute guided meditation that will focus on new beginnings, planting seeds of intention and overall balance during the season. Please bring a yoga mat and blanket for added comfort.

Cost: $35.00 per person. Pre-registration is required by May 5th, 2018 on our rates page. Minimum of 6 participants to hold the workshop/maximum of 20.

Roll and Release "Coregeous® Ball" Yoga Workshop

This yoga workshop is designed for myofascial release for core strength and wellness! Yoga postures and Yoga Tune Up® balls and core balls are used during the session with guidance by certified Myofascial Release for Yoga and Wellness instructor, Michelle Pugh.

Our session ends with a restorative 20 minute guided meditation (yoga blankets, eye pillows and bolsters will be provided for added comfort). Please check in at the front desk upon arrival.

Coregeous® BallThe Coregeous® Ball is an inflatable air-filled sponge ball with a unique soft-stretchy "skin" that's used to massage and activate your core and stretch your psoas. This special tool allows you to gently and safely access your innermost abdominals for ultimate core health!

What to bring: Please dress in layers, bring a yoga mat and water bottle. Tight fitting exercise clothing (ie. tank top, yoga pants, etc.) is suggested to gain the full benefits of contact with the Yoga Tune Up® balls and core balls during our practice. Summer "Invigorate" Yoga Retreat

Welcome the Summer season with Joonbug Yoga and Rebekah Brems (500 hour registered yoga teacher)!

This one day retreat is designed for beginning and experienced yoga students. A variety of activities are included throughout the day. Sign-up for all classes or choose which classes you would like to attend throughout the day on the shores of Hood Canal!

Stand-up paddle boards are limited to 8 total rentals per session listed below or bring your own paddle baord during the session.

Full moon yoga is held at 7:00 p.m. on the full moon each month. Please call the resort or visit www.AlderbrookResort.com for more information!

Cost: Class is complimentary to hotel guests and $10.00 per person for non-hotel guests. Please pay at the front desk prior to attending class. Visit Alderbrook Resort and Spa for more information. Joonbug Yoga class cards are not valid at this location (class is held indoors during the Fall and Winter months and on the waterfront in the Spring and Summer months). 

Details: Experience a one hour moonlit yoga session led by Michelle Pugh! This class is designed for all levels of experience (beginners welcome!) in a beautiful setting along the shores of Hood Canal at Alderbrook. Take in the brightness of the full moon and revel in the opportunity to start fresh in the coming month. Yoga mats and heaters will be provided.
