AUGUST 19th, 2017

Stand-up Paddle Board Yoga Basics Class

1 hour S.U.P. yoga class with Michelle Pugh at Alderbrook Resort and Spa!

Details:

Join us for a one hour stand up paddleboard yoga basics class taught by Michelle Pugh on Saturday, August 19th from 10 AM to 11 AM. Pre-registration is required by August 17th*.

 
Cost:

$25 per person to rent a paddleboard and an additional $25 for the yoga session. If you plan to bring your own paddleboard, please call or email Michelle prior to the event. We are limited to eight paddle boards.
No experience necessary. This class is designed for beginners, experienced paddlers and yoga practitioners. Enjoy learning basic yoga poses on the paddleboard and the beautiful views of Hood Canal and the Resort!

6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.: All levels gentle yoga practice followed by Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) meditation for deep rest and rejuvenation with Michelle

Saturday, November 4th

8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Meditation and all levels asana practice with Jessica

9:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m.: Break

9:45 a.m. - Noon: Aqua yoga and water meditation practice to soothe with Michelle

Noon - 1:00 p.m.: Lunch Break

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: Energetics, mantra and meditation with Rebekah

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.: “Create and Rejuvenate!” group session designed to dive deeper into your creative self through the practices of meditation, gentle yoga, journaling and art with Linda and Preethie

3:15 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (closing practice): Guided meditation and gentle yoga practice with Michelle


Recommended Materials

Joonbug Yoga will provide handouts and some yoga props for the retreat including bolsters, blankets, eye pillows, blocks and straps. Please bring your personal yoga props for a more comfortable experience (ie. sitting cushion, yoga mat, etc.). Please bring a pen and paper for taking notes and journaling.

Full Moon Yoga at Alderbrook Resort and Spa!

Full moon yoga is held at 7:00 p.m. on the full moon each month. Please call the resort or visit www.AlderbrookResort.com for more information!

Cost: Class is complimentary to hotel guests and $10.00 per person for non-hotel guests. Please pay at the front desk prior to attending class. Visit Alderbrook Resort and Spa for more information. Joonbug Yoga class cards are not valid at this location (class is held indoors during the Fall and Winter months and on the waterfront in the Spring and Summer months). 

Details: Experience a one hour moonlit yoga session led by Michelle Pugh! This class is designed for all levels of experience (beginners welcome!) in a beautiful setting along the shores of Hood Canal at Alderbrook. Take in the brightness of the full moon and revel in the opportunity to start fresh in the coming month. Yoga mats and heaters will be provided.
