Michelle Pugh, owner of Joonbug Yoga, is a traveling 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance. She is certified in various holistic practices by Living Spirit Yoga School, YogaFit®, Forrest Yoga®, Reiki Fitness® and Twist Yoga Edmonds. Michelle established Joonbug Yoga in 2010 with a passion to blend her creative talents with health, wellness and community. Her diverse fitness experience comes from over 30 years of athletics, ballet and dedicated yoga training. Michelle's yoga classes blend creativity, strength, balance, flexibility and flow blooming straight from the heart!

She established Joonbug Yoga studio and operated the brick and mortor space from 2010 through 2017 managing 12 teachers and the business (ie. marketing, communications, accounting, etc.). Joonbug Yoga was nominated for Business of the Year by the Shelton Mason County Chamber of Commerce in 2014. She closed the physical studio space in 2017 to extend the benefits of yoga as a traveling Yogini to various locations throughout Washington State.

Her expertise in marketing and visual communication is rooted in her graphic design career. Michelle graduated from The Art Institute of Seattle and has worked professionally as a Senior Graphic Designer for Washington state government, non-profit organizations and small businesses since 1996. Michelle was previously employeed with The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission, The Olympian Newspaper, The Tacoma News Tribune and Indian Country Today Newspaper and continues to design websites and print publications through her freelance business, Joonbug Graphic Design.
